Maroo – “Drogo” iPad Case and iPhone Cover

I have been using Maroo.com cases since I first got my iPad2 way back when. As well they are really awesome fashion statements. I mean we are bringing our tech with us everywhere, they might as well represent our tastes as well! You might imagine my excitement when I saw their newest line called:

As a gaming community we are obviously all watching or have read, Game of Thrones.

I cannot see this iPad case coming at a better time!

So far I cannot say I have been anything but impressed. The etchings on this thing are top of the line. Leather binding, beautiful dragons, and a really wonderful mix of colors. Who woulda thought yellow could look this badass?!

This thing is just perfect from every angle! (minus the random cat hair here or there, that no matter how much you rub down an item prior to a product shot you miss some and want to kill yourself)

Celebrate the Year of the Dragon with the Drogo

So this thick skinned, leather bound, iPad case, really is worthy of the title of Drogo. I would highly recommend this for those who A: Love Dragons, B: Love Game of Thrones, C: Love the comfort of knowing they can toss their ipad off a tall building without it breaking and without sacrificing exceptional style.

Don’t let the “younger brother” name fool you, this thing is the same etched leather casing as the iPad case and just as rugged, but in a slim, lightweight package to match your iPhone 5!

Sexy sexy packaging.

Looks awesome with the White iPhone and Black. It feels nice in your hand, and has a ton of detail in the etching as well!

The Good: Overall I would say these are two cases that I would recommend. They are strong, polished, detailed, and just fucking cool looking. The manufacturer is really helpful and threw in a ton of cool extra features to the case so you really have no reason to take it off.

The not as good:

The only downside with the iPhone case is the bigger openings on the bottom and sides allowing more chance for scratching. This isn’t a full body protecting case as much as a fashion statement. It does protect your phone if you put it face down though, so that is a plus.

The iPad case, the bumpers are a bit thinner than the earlier version, which I don’t know if that was a technical choice and I am not sure how much it effects the overall protection in a drop test(won’t be doing that any time soon) but either way it will provide you with excellent protection for your precious iPad while you watch Game of Thrones! (My old case I literally would throw it around and the bumpers always absorbed all the impact)
